Ingredients
  

Cocktail
  • 1.5 oz tequila (silver or reposado)
  • 1.5 oz pomegranate juice
  • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz orange juice
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • 0.5 oz maple syrup or simple syrup
  • ice enough to fill shaker
Garnish & Rim
  • lime juice for rimming
  • cinnamon-sugar for rimming
  • 1 sprig rosemary for garnish
  • orange slice or pomegranate arils optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Dip the rim of your glass in lime juice, then into cinnamon-sugar to coat.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, add a pinch of cinnamon and ground ginger.
  3. Pour in the tequila, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and orange juice.
  4. Add maple syrup and fill the shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds.
  5. Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and optional orange slice or pomegranate arils.

Notes

Use fresh-squeezed citrus for best flavor. Clap the rosemary between your hands before garnishing to release its aroma. Make a big batch for parties and serve chilled over ice.
