  • boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • olive oil or neutral oil for searing
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • smoked paprika
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
Bang Bang Sauce
  • mayonnaise
  • sweet chili sauce
  • sriracha
  • honey
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • fresh lime juice
  • red pepper flakes optional heat
Garnishes
  • sliced scallions
  • sesame seeds
  • lime wedges

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs on both sides until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In a bowl, whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, garlic, and lime juice until smooth.
  4. Reduce skillet heat to low. Add Bang Bang sauce and toss chicken until fully coated and glossy. Simmer 1–2 minutes.
  5. Garnish with scallions, sesame seeds, and lime wedges. Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

Swap mayo for Greek yogurt for a lighter version. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes if preferred. Add soy sauce for extra umami depth.
