- Pat salmon dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil for even baking.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, zest, parsley, and optional honey.
- Place seasoned salmon on a baking tray. Pour half of the garlic lemon butter sauce over the top. Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 12–14 minutes.
- Once baked, spoon remaining sauce over the salmon. Let rest 2 minutes to absorb flavor.
- Serve warm with rice, vegetables, pasta, or salad.
Notes
The garlic lemon butter sauce also pairs beautifully with shrimp, asparagus, rice bowls, and pasta. For a lighter option, use half the butter and add extra lemon.
