  • 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup breadcrumbs optional, for extra crunch
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Rub chicken with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Optional: Lightly sear chicken in a hot skillet for 1–2 minutes per side for added flavor and color.
  4. Mix Parmesan, mozzarella, and breadcrumbs (if using). Press the cheese mixture onto each chicken breast.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (165°F) and cheese is golden and bubbly.
  6. Top with chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a crispy finish, broil during the last 2 minutes of baking. Serve with mashed potatoes, veggies, or salad for a restaurant-style meal.
