Ingredients
  

Chicken & Marinade
  • 1 lb chicken breasts or thighs boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 tsp oregano dried
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain, full-fat or low-fat
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
Wrap Assembly
  • 4 whole wheat wraps or pita flatbreads gluten-free optional
  • 1 cucumber sliced or chopped
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 1 red onion thinly sliced
  • spinach or arugula a handful
Optional Add-Ins
  • feta cheese crumbled
  • kalamata olives sliced
  • chickpeas for added protein

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken with olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes. Add a spoonful of yogurt for added tenderness.
  2. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high. Cook chicken for 6–8 minutes per side or until internal temp reaches 165°F. Slice thinly for wraps.
  3. In a bowl, whisk yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil until smooth. Chill for 5 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Warm wraps briefly. Assemble by layering chicken, chopped veggies, yogurt sauce, and any optional add-ins. Roll tightly.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs or a drizzle of olive oil if desired.

Notes

To meal prep, store components separately and assemble wraps when ready to eat. For a low-carb option, use lettuce wraps or almond flour tortillas.
