- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and chopped onion. Cook until fragrant and slightly golden.
- Add ground beef. Cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning as it cooks.
- Boil bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the skillet, pour in beef broth and optional cream. Simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss everything until pasta is fully coated in the sauce.
- Top with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. Serve warm with chili flakes if desired.
Notes
Use room-temp butter for a smoother melt. Don’t overcook the pasta—its ridges hold the sauce perfectly. For extra richness, finish with a drizzle of olive oil.
