Ingredients

For the Salmon
  • 1 lb fresh salmon skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
For the Honey Garlic Glaze
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder or fresh grated ginger
  • red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs or Spatula

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat salmon cubes dry, then season with salt, pepper, and toss with olive oil.
  3. Place salmon in air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy on the outside and tender inside.
  4. While salmon cooks, whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) in a small bowl to make the glaze.
  5. Transfer cooked salmon to a bowl and toss with glaze until well coated.
  6. Optional: Return glazed salmon to air fryer for 1–2 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  7. Serve warm with rice, veggies, or in wraps.

Notes

Great for meal prep—just store glaze separately and toss before serving. Try over jasmine rice, in lettuce wraps, or on salads!
