  • 2 large firm apples Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Gala
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats or crushed graham crackers for coating
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray

Method
 

  1. Wash, core, and slice the apples into ¼-inch fries. Keeping them even helps them cook perfectly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon with oats or graham crackers. Brush apple slices with honey or syrup if desired, then roll them in the coating mixture.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
  4. Arrange the slices in a single layer in the basket. Spray lightly with oil for extra crispiness. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle extra cinnamon or drizzle honey over the top. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, try coating with crushed almonds or coconut flakes. Don’t worry if they look a bit rustic – that’s part of the homemade charm!
