Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For Cheesecake Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies, wrap cookie dough around small scoops of slightly frozen cheesecake filling before baking. Chill dough for 30 minutes if too soft. Do not overbake, as cookies continue to set while cooling.
