  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • crushed red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat chicken dry and brush or rub with the glaze on both sides.
  4. Place chicken in air fryer basket and cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra glaze if desired.

Notes

To make this recipe ahead, marinate the chicken in the glaze up to 24 hours in advance. Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days or freeze up to 2 months. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 5–6 minutes.
